Cape Arago Beach Loop

November 4, 2019

From Coos Bay and North Bend, Oregon, travelers exploring the area can drive a short distance away from these inland bay towns and discover an absolutely stunning scenic loop that won’t disappoint. Bastendorff Beach, the Cape Arago Lighthouse, Sunset Beach, Shore Acres State Park, Simpson Reef, and Cape Arago State Park all feature quick and easy look-outs and vantage points along this 14-mile route out of North Bend.

Known as the Cape Arago Beach Loop, you’ll spot seals and sea lions, catch a glimpse of a historic lighthouse situated atop a rugged and isolated cliff, and discover several hiking trails and paths to extend your wandering journey. Visitors can also scan the waters for migrating whales. Bastendorff Beach is also a popular draw for surfers, kiters, and tourists but remains a quiet and undeveloped haven for beach lovers.

WE ❤️ ADOBE!

While we love producing our own content, we also love discovering the work of the many talented creators out there and sharing them with you. We believe it’s important to pay for the hard work that these artists do, and we want to champion a greater message around this.

If you’re a website designer, blogger, or online publisher, and you’re looking for a better solution for stock images and creative assets, we encourage you try Adobe Stock. They have a really cool intro offer where you’ll receive 10 Adobe Stock images for free! And you get to keep these images even if you decide not to renew. What a great way to get some free and amazing pictures for your blog or website!

And as a photographer Adobe is a critical tool for running my business. Their creative cloud membership incorporating Lightroom and Photoshop speeds up my workflow and helps me make my images look their best. If you’re new to Adobe and the Creative Cloud membership, they have several plans to fit your needs, but the $9.99/mo photography plan allows you to access Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, and Photoshop from anywhere your photography takes you.
